The first snow of the winter started falling towards the end of last week, and while that means some spectacular winter wonderland scenes for us city-dwellers, for sheep farmers across the country it means the daily evening work of rounding up their sheep for the night has gotten a little bit harder.
Farmer Ólafur Ólafsson, whose farm is located in Bárðardalur in north Iceland, had a nifty idea to make his work a little bit easier. He decided to see if using his camera drone would be enough to get the sheep moving home. As you can see from this video, it worked wonders!
Make sure to turn on sound for the added bonus of Pink Floyd’s Sheep playing over the relaxing video.
