Magical View Of The Northern Lights Captured From A Plane Window

The Northern Lights are a spectacle from the ground, but catch them while you’re flying at 35,000 feet and you are in for a once-in-a-lifetime treat.

When photographer Aryeh Nirenberg decided to travel to Iceland his hope was to see the Northern Lights at least once during his trip. Little did he know he’d see them even before arriving!

While flying from Baltimore to Keflavík last January 14th, Nirenberg looked out his window as the flight was nearing its destination to be greeted with the most beautiful sight. The sky was full of colorful dancing auroras. Not believing his luck, he set up his camera on a window suction mount and captured this stunning time-lapse video while he enjoyed the show from the comfort of his seat.
