The Complete History Of The Icelandic National Football Kit

The Football Association of Iceland (KSÍ) will be revealing tomorrow the all new national football kit that will be worn by the Icelandic national football team in the upcoming FIFA 2018 World Cup in Russia.

To tease the launch, KSÍ created this video showcasing the complete history of the Icelandic team’s kit over the last decades. From their humble beginnings in 1946 up to the most recent kit which was famously worn by the men’s team at the European Championship held in France in 2016 and by the women’s team the following year in The Netherlands.

The new kit — like the one it replaces — is made by Italian sports equipment company supplier Erreà and will go on general sale within the next couple of weeks.

All of Iceland’s national football teams (both senior and junior levels for men and women) will be wearing the newly designed kit for at least the next two years.
