Couple Spends 10 Days Travelling The Ring Road Of Iceland During Winter

Last winter, videographer Daniel Kemeys and his girlfriend, Hana, travelled around the Ring Road of Iceland on a magical 10 day road trip, capturing some incredibly beautiful landscapes through every weather condition imaginable.

Starting in Reykjavík, they drove the Ring Road going anti-clockwise around the country. Along the south coast they stopped by some picturesque waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss along with the lighthouse at Dyrhólaey, the village of Vík and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Next they drove past the Eastfjords on their way up north to film the immense beauty of Goðafoss waterfall.

Going past Akureyri, often nicknamed the capital of the North, they made their way west, to the Snæfellsnes peninsula where they stopped by Iceland’s most photographed mountain, the famous Kirkjufell.

During their road trip, they drove under sunshine, through a snow blizzard, and even climbed a mountain as it hailed. Daniel says they cried, laughed and ultimately loved every moment of their visit to Iceland.
